Privacy Policy
Gaviotas Service Group LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), doing business as Purchase Order Lending, operates purchaseorderlending.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we share it, and the rights you have over it.
We are a referral service. We are not a lender, broker of record, or financial institution, and we do not extend credit or make lending decisions.
1. Categories of personal information we collect
- Identifiers (name, email address, phone number) — collected directly from you via our qualifier and contact forms.
- Commercial information (monthly revenue range, funding amount requested, funding timeline, time in business, industry) — collected directly from you.
- Geolocation data, general (business state) — collected directly from you.
- Internet activity (pages visited, referring site, browser type, IP address) — collected automatically, via analytics, once you consent to cookies.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal information, and our forms do not ask for them.
2. Why we collect it
- To match your inquiry with one or more independent funding partners suited to your business.
- To respond to questions submitted through our Contact page.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, and understand aggregate traffic patterns.
3. How we share it
When you submit the qualifier form, we share the information you provide with one or more third-party funding companies so they can evaluate and contact you about financing. We receive compensation from these funding partners when a referral results in funded business. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), this arrangement may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even though no direct sale of data for its own sake occurs.
California residents have the right to opt out of this sharing. You can exercise this right by clicking “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the site footer, or emailing support@gaviotasgroup.com with your request. If you opt out, we will not share your information with funding partners going forward, which means we will not be able to complete a referral for you — we will let you know this at the point you opt out, so it’s an informed choice.
We also share information with service providers who help us operate the Site (form processing, hosting, analytics). These providers are contractually restricted from using your information for their own purposes.
We do not sell personal information to data brokers or unrelated advertisers.
4. Notice at collection
A short version of this notice also appears directly above our qualifier form, at the point information is collected, as required by California law.
5. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we’ve collected, used, disclosed, or sold/shared about you in the past 12 months.
- Delete personal information we’ve collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (see Section 3).
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny goods/services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA, so the right to limit use of sensitive personal information does not apply.
To exercise these rights, email support@gaviotasgroup.com with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will verify your identity using the information you’ve submitted before fulfilling a request, and will respond within the time required by law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
6. Data retention
We retain information submitted through our forms for as long as needed to complete the referral or respond to your inquiry, and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping, typically no longer than 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law or a legitimate business need (such as an unresolved dispute).
7. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate Site traffic. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies until you provide consent through our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings or by revisiting the cookie preferences link in the footer.
8. Minors
This Site is directed to business owners and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of internet transmission is completely secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. The effective date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected with a new effective date.
